With all the problems and forfeit of the Manny pacquiao family (Manny with his boxing profession, as well as in his present place in the US senate, and spouse Jinkee's own governmental profession and many endorsements) it is no question how the two gained their large prosperity.

Truly, Manny is a self-made man who has achieved great levels. But despite all this, the senator continues to be humble and modest as he glorifies God instead for all that he has accomplished!


Being humble I think can best be seen as a character trait. Once you've attained the state at which you do things but don't feel the need for much praise or recognition and thus don't pursue these things, you can say of yourself that you are humble. In this way I think humility can be seen as one of the greatest virtues because it means that your actions are not all 'tainted' by ulterior motive (the need for recognition).  And that was Manny all about, I appreciate of what he has done in his life.  For giving a best value of his family, and sharing his love.

Valentines Day - Should we or not celebrate?

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, we only officially enjoy the one occasion that Christ instructed his supporters. The memorial of his death (1 Cor. 11:23-26).  We also enjoy other activities which are known to positively in the Scriptures such as weddings, wedding anniversaries, the birth of a baby, graduations and many other happy occasions. Most of my daughter classmates asked her if she is bored of not allowing valentines, birthdays celebration.  But as a mother, explaining the truth would make child wider perspectives.  We cook any time of the day, and feel special even there's no occasion. 

Question is "But why don't Jehovah's Witnesses enjoy St. Valentine Day?" Jehovah's Witnesses take their praise very seriously and persist upon maintaining their praise of God undefiled (James 1:27). Therefore, the primary good purpose why Jehovah's Witnesses do not enjoy St. Valentine Day is because pagan activities praising pagan gods are included with St. Valentine Day's origin.

What is the origin of Valentine’s Day?


The World Book Encyclopedia informs us: “Valentine’s Day comes on the feast day of two different Christian martyrs named Valentine. But the customs connected with the day . . . probably come from an ancient Roman festival called Lupercalia which took place every February 15. The festival honored Juno, the Roman goddess of women and marriage, and Pan, the god of nature.”

Jehovah’s Witnesses can’t be part of this world. They must be separate from the world.

- Isn't that confusing? well, let us explain this in a simpler way.

EOI - Applying for Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)

I am very interested to join the MPNP program.  I have fun searching in the internet than paying the consultancy agent. I wanted to do all the paper works on hand.  First is to take IELTS, you have a long way to do this unless you are proficient in English language. I took the review here in Davao every weekends, from 8am to 4pm (Saturday-Sunday). Its a tiring routine for 3 months.  I took the exam last year 30 July 2016.

I joined facebook page that are interested in MPNP  program. I loved reading comments of my fellow member and learned so much from them.  One of the page I joined is MPNP (EOI) FOR FILIPINOS ONLY

And after a couple months, I finally created an account in EOI,

Then wait for Six months to one year for the Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA).

An Expression of Interest (EOI) is NOT considered an application to the MPNP. Only those candidates invited directly by the MPNP from the EOI pool will be able to submit a full application to the MPNP for consideration as Provincial Nominees. Your EOI is valid for one (1) year from the date of submission and if you are not invited to submit an application by the time your submission expires, it will be removed and you will have to create a new one.

One thing to be sure is we have to research everything before deciding to create an EOI account, all the information must be correct spell and with honesty.  An EOI is an indication that you would like to be considered for a skilled worker.
